陈 平，1960年２月出生于北京。1984年毕业于中央美术学院中国画系，毕业后在中央美术学院书法艺术研究室执教。1997年调入中国画研究院任专职画家，为一级美术师。2002年又调入中央美术学院中国画系，执教山水，任教授、研究生导师、博士生导师。中国美术家协会会员、中国书法家协会会员、中华诗词协会会员。
　　Chen Ping Born in Beijing in February 1960, Chen Ping graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1984 and upon graduation became a teacher at the academy Research Centre of Calligraphic Art. He joined the Academy of Chinese Painting as a full-time painter in 1997 and received the title of Artist of the First Grade. He returned the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2002 and became a professor and adviser to graduate students and Ph.D. candidates in the Department of Chinese Painting. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, Chinese Calligraphers Association and Chinese Poetry Association.
